DMIUSA is now offering an FTP site to allow our clients a quick solution to upload or download files that would otherwise be too large for Email. Existing clients can access their FTP account with their unique username and password, assigned to them from their Customer Service Representative at DMIUSA.

New clients can call 1-800-574-2350 to obtain a username and password to access our FTP site.

You will need an FTP software client to upload/download via File Transfer Protocol (FTP). We have had good success using Fetch 4.01 http://fetchsoftworks.com/. We will be happy to provide any support needed to get you connected to us using this program. Here are some quick instructions:

It is very important to make sure that your files are compressed prior to uploading, preferably BinHex. After launching Fetch 4.01, enter ftp.dmiusa.com in the "host" field, then enter your username and password that you are given to you by your Sales or Customer Service Representative in the corresponding fields. Once you are connected to ftp.dmiusa.com you will have a choice of folders:

To send us your files select the Incoming folder then click on "Put Files..." (at bottom of window), choose your files, select "raw data" as the format and begin uploading.

To retrieve files go to the Outgoing folder and select the file then click on "Get File...", select where you'd like to save the file on your hard drive and begin downloading.

After launching FreeFTP, enter our address in the top right corner ftp.dmiusa.com along with your username and password that was provided by your Sales or Customer Service Representative and click the connect button. Once you are connected to ftp.dmiusa.com you will have a choice of folders:

A list of files on our ftp site will appear under the "FTP Site files" window.

To upload a file, navigate, in the lower right corner window, to the directory that contains the file you will be uploading. A file list of that directory will appear in the lower left window. You can drag and drop between the lower left window "your files" and the upper right window "FTP Site files". The upper right window should be in the "Incoming" directory.

To retrieve files go to the Outgoing folder and select the file then drag it into the "your files window where you'd like it saved.
